I had lunch at Fresh Chef over in Conover, NC when the weather was much cooler with two pros in their field. Members Only Seat Holder: Stephanie Gates from Top Flite Home Loans and local real estate agent Lindsey Sandoval. A mortgage lender, a realtor, and a marketing guy have lunch at Fresh Chef —it honestly felt like the setup to a Hangover sequel.
Somewhere in the middle of our conversation, I completely zoned out—not because I was bored, but because I realized something. As Stephanie and Lindsey traded terms, processes, and client stories, I wasn’t following along anymore because… I didn’t have to. I was clearly sitting with two people who knew exactly what they were talking about. If I ever had a question about real estate or lending, I knew I’d just call them. I was in the presence of pros.
