Podcast, Holidays, and Networking
The holidays always brings up emotions for everyone. We think of the family members we don’t get to share these happy times with anymore. We think of the family that may not be around your tree but around another tree.
My father never got to meet my children. I always think what he would think, or how he would think, I would be doing trying to navigate these parenting waters. This is one of the reasons the Hickory Algorithm has come to light.
How much would you pay for your grandchild whom you may never meet you to hear a conversation between their grandparent and their parent. Think of that for a second, to be able to hear a conversation of your father talking to his father, whom you never met. It really plays the heart strings doesn’t it? As my youngest son would say “the cello is the only instrument that matters.”
This week with the Hickory Algorithm, we focus on family.

TOMORRROW!
Networking can be so stuffy. We go for business but have a hard time staying because it seems like a dead end. Now, let’s sit in your house, with your favorite drink, and hang out with your boy.
Man, I remember the Lan parties at people’s houses, the halo midnight releases, and the best multiplayer experiences you’ve ever had.. TEAM BUILDING.
Hickory, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and even some people from Philly are more than welcomed and everybody else is just welcomed. So log on, let’s BS, worst case we talk about how horrible we are now or we get to flex on some kids that got xbox for Christmas. As true leaders of the community we should be there to help Sheppard them into online gaming, For Reach, For the culture and #fortheloveofthegame.
We are gonna play some rocket league tomorrow night - I am not good. Rocket League is cross platform PC, Xbox, PS4, and Switch so most should be able to play together.
🧐 The time we have
As the holidays come and go it’s such a heavy time. Take the time to tell the people you appreciate them. You never know when the last time you are going to see someone. How many holidays we have left with the people we love the most? Spend the ultimate currency these next weeks, time. Spend it with those you love, the ones that help you get better, and in rooms you want to be in. Have a great holiday and I’m honored to showcase families. My family, the Pegues, and now next week with the Parsons.
